1. Poor lubrication

Failure to inject oil in a timely manner, blockage of the oil pipe, or deterioration of the lubricating oil can cause the bearing to lock up.

2. Incorrect selection of bearings

The incorrect installation size or model of the bearing prevents normal operation and causes the bearing to lock up.

3. Wear of bearings and reduction of clearance

Due to operation under high temperature, high speed, and heavy load, the wear of the bearing and the increase in temperature of the inner ring of the bearing result in an increase in thermal expansion, leading to a decrease in the radial working clearance of the bearing and causing it to lock up.

3、 Steps for correctly installing the bearings of the vibrating screen

1. Clean the bearings and their related parts to maintain their cleanliness.

3. Install and inspect.

(1) Installation of cylindrical hole vibrating screen bearings

Method 1: Press in with a press. This is the method used for small bearings, which involves inserting a pad into the inner ring and then using a press to press the bearing into the inner ring and onto the shaft shoulder.

Method 2: Hot fitting, which is a method used for large bearings. The hot fitting method involves heating and expanding the bearings in oil to easily fit them onto the shaft. This method not only takes a short time but also does not cause external forces on the bearings.

(2) Installation of cone hole vibrating screen bearings

Method 1: Fix the inner ring directly on the conical shaft.

Method 2: Install the bearing onto the cylindrical shaft using a fastening sleeve or a disassembly sleeve.

4. Add lubricating oil.

The method of adding lubricating oil varies for different bearings. General bearings can be added directly without cleaning; For instrument bearings and high-speed bearings, first wash off the rust inhibitor on the bearings with clean oil, and then add lubricating oil; Bearings with added lubricating oil do not require the addition of lubricating oil.
