9 common faults and solutions of cone crusher:
1. Abnormal oil pressure and temperature
(1) When the filter is blocked, the oil pressure of the front and rear oil pipes is different. If the oil pressure difference is greater than 0.04MPa, oil can be supplied without the filter first, and then the filter can be disassembled and cleaned. However, direct oil supply to the crusher should be less than 2-3h;
(2) When the oil temperature is low, the oil switch is not turned on properly, and the oil pump is not running properly, it will cause no oil flow in the oil quantity indicator. Although the oil pump is running, the oil pressure is less than 0.05MPa. It is necessary to heat the oil, turn on the oil switch, and repair or replace the oil pump;
(3) In winter, if the oil temperature is too low, the A full valve may malfunction or the pump capacity may be too large. When the oil supply pressure is too high, the broken cone may be lifted. Therefore, heating the oil, adjusting the A full valve, or replacing the oil pump should be done;
2. Cone breaking current too high
If there is too much, uneven, or too much powder ore in the large cone crusher, or if it is damp, the equipment should be adjusted to evenly and continuously feed the ore, and the ore containing too much powder ore should be removed before feeding; When the lubrication is poor, it is necessary to disassemble and lubricate the moving parts; When bearings or spherical bearings are damaged, spare parts need to be replaced;
3. Wear and failure of conical lining plate
Large conical liners have high breaking speeds, large crushing forces, and enormous compression and shear pressures. They are prone to wear and failure forms such as cutting, plastic deformation, and fatigue, resulting in plastic deformation, fatigue crack spalling, and large losses.
4. Cone crusher "flying car"
Fault cause: Poor scraping and grinding of the inner wall of the shaft lining, improper assembly, or excessive wear; Insufficient running in of the crusher, insufficient strength of the lubricating oil film between the main shaft and the shaft lining; The bushing fits well with the main shaft, but the moving cone spherical surface and bowl bearing are worn;
Solution: Ensure the assembly clearance between the inner and outer holes of the cone sleeve, ensure the contact between the main shaft and the cone sleeve along the entire length, and fix the cone sleeve and the shaft sleeve with melted zinc alloy to confirm that there is no relative movement between the two.
5. Excessive wear and chipping of conical teeth
Main cause of fault: incomplete protection device; The feeding of slag iron material exceeds the size of the equipment and is stuck; Stopping due to cone breaking and blockage, forcibly starting with heavy load; The configuration of the transmission motor does not match, seriously affecting efficiency and normal operation of the equipment.
Solution: Design two ways of iron removal, in addition to the original slag feeding belt head wheel for iron removal, add a permanent magnet hanging iron removal device on the belt feeding slag, which can effectively prevent slag and iron from mixing into the crushing chamber; If the metal content inside the hydraulic oil tank exceeds the standard during the monthly inspection, it needs to be dealt with in a timely manner; A complete operating system, strengthened supervision and joint liability assessment of crusher iron passing, can improve machine operation efficiency and service life, and significantly reduce operating costs.
6. Frequent jumping of the adjusting ring
Strictly control the feed particle size to prevent non crushed materials from mixing into the crushing chamber; Lock the adjustment cap tightly; Before starting the cone breaking, it is necessary to conduct multiple inspections to confirm the reasonable gap between the adjustment ring and locking ring threads, increase the locking stroke, and reduce the wear of the adjustment ring, locking ring threads, and locking bolts; The design of the feeding funnel is very important, and it should be ensured that the feeding center is as close to the crusher as possible;
8. Lubricating oil failure
Regularly inspect the labyrinth seal; After exceeding the service life of 2000 hours, the viscosity and other indicators of the lubricating oil will suddenly decrease, and regular replacement is necessary.
9. Excessive vibration of the crusher
The material should be fed correctly, the discharge port should be adjusted within the allowable range, reducing the amount of fine and viscous materials in the feed, and tightening the compression nut on the spring according to regulations or replacing the spring;
When the cone body sinks, it causes strong vibration of the crusher, and the cone part of the crusher rotates very high. It is necessary to dismantle or replace the bushing, spindle, etc. to investigate the cause of oil shortage and eliminate it; Reasonably adjust the clearance of the bushing; Re scratch and meet the requirements.
